One of the most peculiar features about the National Pension Scheme Authority is the resolve to get to where the members and employers are and not the other way round. The Authority has overtime come up with ways and means to serve all employers and members better by helping them, reduce the costs associated with travelling long distances to either make payments or file their benefits claims.

In addition to having offices spread in all provinces, NAPSA also runs mobile offices to cater for those who may be in far flung and remote areas. Mobile offices are not necessarily permanent offices but, as the term may suggest, they involve NAPSA setting up an office in a particular place where it does not have an office for a number of days.

These mobile offices are packaged in such a way that everything that can happen at a NAPSA office anywhere in the country can be done at a mobile office. This means that at the mobile office you can do any of the following and many more:

• Filing in your claims and receiving your benefits payments
• Checking your NAPSA statement
• Paying your contributions
• Registering as an employer or member
• Filing your returns
• And many more

This means you do not necessarily have to travel to the NAPSA station if it is too far from where you are. You may simply have to call your nearest NAPSA office and find out where mobile offices are held in your area and take note of the dates on which they are held. As a matter of general guideline, most of the mobile offices operate between the 1^st and the 10^th of each month though some vary.
