NAPSA Supports Cheshire Homes

The National Pension Scheme Authority has donated K50,000 to Cheshire Home based in Chawama township in Lusaka to support their daily needs.
The donation was made during the Cheshire Home 16th Annual Fundraising Walk which took place in lusaka this morning from Andrews Motel along Kafue Road to Chawama Cheshire Home.
Speaking when he made a donation, NAPSA Acting Director General, Mr. Ronnie Kamanya who led a team during the fundraising walk indicated that the donation would go towards the construction of the physiotherapy lab which will be used by the aged for their daily exercises.
Mr. Kamanya hoped that the donation will go a long way in supporting the works that the home is already doing.
He said that as a trusted partner that protects people’s future and brings pride to the nation, NAPSA will continue playing a significant role in the lives of the people in surrounding communities.
“The Authority has made tremendous achievements in uplifting the living standards of the people through dedicated Corporate Social Responsibility programmes,” he said.
Cheshire Homes Chairperson Joseph Ngoma thanked NAPSA for the gesture which he said will go a long way in meeting the needs of the vulnerable.
Cheshire Homes currently has in its care 20 sick old people and supports close to 100 orphans in Chawama and surrounding communities through provision of school fees.
